At Heroes Academy, academic support is an essential complementary programme designed to strengthen our holistic approach to youth empowerment. While not a core pillar, it plays a vital role alongside our mentorship initiatives and psycho-social support services. Together, these elements form a powerful combination that nurtures the intellectual, emotional, and personal development of our participants, equipping them to thrive in school and life.

Our Academic Support Programme provides support for our participants from Grade 8 through to Grade 12, offering academic assistance in subjects where many learners often struggle, such as Mathematics and English. These tutoring sessions are aligned with the national curriculum and aim to reinforce concepts taught in school, close learning gaps, and improve overall academic performance.

The programme responds to a critical need: many of the young people we serve come from under-resourced schools and communities where access to quality academic support is limited. By providing a structured, supportive learning environment outside of the traditional classroom, we help participants build confidence in their academic abilities and overcome barriers to success.
